Celebrate their excellence! Vote for your favorite filmmakers in the BeBop Global City.
The BeBop Channel is a Global City of Artists and Arts patrons from around the world – from Helsinki to Harlem, from Tehran to Topeka -- who exchange ideas, push artistic boundaries, and interact with one another while profiting as stakeholders in the distribution of artistic works. Anyone is welcome in this City as long as you believe that preserving the Arts is not good enough. Our goal is to popularize the High Arts including Jazz, Theatre, Dance, and Global Films once again and allow Artists to directly share their work with the audience through streaming, online community interactions, and in-person festivals.
VOTING RULES
The BeBop Channel Viewers’ Choice Awards celebrate filmmakers in the BeBop Channel Global City by allowing viewers to vote for over 600 of their favorite films!
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible films are comprised of Official Selections from our three film festivals: The 2020 BeBop Channel Content Film Festival, The BeBop 2021 Channel Dance and Theatre Film Festival and New York Jazz Film Festival 2016-2021.

Official Selections which are not currently available on our viewing platforms and apps are not eligible.

** For films not eligible for monetary awards due to US Sanctions in their countries.
Prize winners and Honorary winners will also be featured on The BeBop Channel's upcoming program 'The Artist's Corner'.

A minimum threshhold of 200,000 (two hundred thousand) aggregate votes must be received by a film for the award of any cash prize.

VOTING TABULATION
The voting will be tabulated as follows: films will receive one “vote” per one “view” of their film. Should a fan take the time to write a review in the Member Area of our website, the film will receive 100 “votes” per written review. Our software allows us to see how many views each film gets - so it is really that easy - fans just need to watch a film during the voting period to get counted!
The voting will be tabulated based upon the number of views and written reviews as follows:
Each Written Review (written in our Member Area) = 100 votes
Each View = 1 vote

VOTING PERIOD

Written reviews will be accepted between 12:01am EST on June 1, 2021 and 11:59pm EST on July 30, 2021. Again, each written review will count as 100 votes.
Views will be counted between 12:01am EST on June 19, 2021 and 11:59pm EST on July 2, 2021. Again, each view will count as 1 vote.
Written reviews and views outside of these times will not be tabulated.
